Our ingredients are sourced ethically and eco-consciously primarily in Canada, Australia and South America, particularly in the Amazon.

Our entire skincare range is USDA certified organic, meaning it adheres to the strict rules and regulations set forth by the USDA. Organic skincare refers to the manner in which ingredients are grown and harvested. In order to be certified as organic, agricultural practices have to be free of pesticides, herbicides, toxic substances, synthetic fertilizers and genetically modified organisms. Organic farming practices thereby create less environmental burden by decreasing pollution, reducing chemical runoff, enhancing energy-efficiency, decreasing soil erosion and protecting biodiversity overall. Organic skincare is thus often healthier for your skin, your overall health and the health of the planet. A trifecta of goodness!

We are completely vegan, and cruelty-free,  as well as free of palm oil and its derivatives.

We ask you to store your skincare goodies below 24 degrees Celsius/ 75 degrees Fahrenheit and ideally away from direct sunlight. 

We do not use any artificial fragrances. Our beautiful scents come to you directly from nature's perfume box. Did you know that when you find the word 'fragrance' on a label, this refers to a combination of chemicals? We prefer our scents the natural, healthier way! Please note that this also means that a scent may occasionally differ just a bit between batches. 

As our products are organic, we ask you to use them within 6 months of opening.

Organic products can change colour over time if they come into contact with oxygen. While most of our range comes in airless bottles, our Sea of Serenity Balm comes in a jar due to its balmy texture. If exposed to oxygen, this may lead to slight colour changes. Try to always store your products at the recommended temperature, keep your lids on tight and handle with clean hands. Please note that natural ingredients also all have their own colour and scent variations, which could lead to slight differences between orders. If you are concerned about any change that you observe in your product, please reach out to us and we will be happy to assist you. 

If you are concerned about allergies, generally very sensitive to new ingredients or new to natural/organic skincare, we recommend you to perform a patch test to ensure the product does not cause any reaction. 

Please study the ingredient label thoroughly in case of allergy concerns. If you are allergic to any of the ingredients, do not use the product. 

Reach out to your doctor or dermatologist in case of specific medical concerns or skin issues before using a new product.

Unfortunately, we do not have any samples available at this point. We are working on it! 

As you can probably imagine, we cannot give you a set-in-stone answer to this, as results vary greatly depending on surrounding factors (our skin can be affected by our diet, exercise, stress etc) and use consistency. If you use our products every day, as per the instructions and really develop a consistent routine, some results will be seen pretty much immediately (such as a hydrated feel and a visible glow), while others can take longer to notice. In general, it takes between two to three months to notice specific rejuvenating and/or brightening results (such as brightened pigmentation or reduced fine lines), but this can vary depending on the individual. If you actively follow our Relaxation Grotto and make use of the techniques and advice given there, results may be intensified.

Each of our product comes with a set of instructions for ideal use, please refer to the individual product pages for details. In general, we recommend our cleanser to be used twice a day, while all other products should be used at least once a day. However, if you are not using the entire range, you might want to use the serums and/or Grove of Goodness day cream more often. The Sea of Serenity balm has a very rich texture, which is why we recommend to only use it over night.

✨ Our product boxes are coated with aqueous finishes, made with at least 50% recycled content, and are also fully recyclable.

✨ Our magical mailers and thank-you cards are both compostable — the mailers are curbside compostable, and the cards are printed on 100% recycled paper.

We’ve also chosen custom-sized packaging over generic cartons to avoid unnecessary waste. While our smallest mailer may feel slightly generous for a single product, it’s the minimum size allowed by our shipping partner for proper label placement.

Beyond packaging, we’re proud to be USDA-certified organic, vegan, cruelty-free, and committed to using electric vehicles across our supply chain where possible. And with every order placed, a tree is planted through our partnership with One Tree Planted — in regions where it’s needed most.

All of our paper packaging is crafted with care — printed using eco-friendly inks and responsibly sourced. Our magical mailers and thank-you cards are fully compostable, with the cards themselves made from 100% recycled paper.

Our product boxes contain at least 50% recycled paper and are fully recyclable. The bottles and jars holding our potions are made from lightweight PET plastic — chosen for its durability and recyclability.

While not perfect, we’re on a mission to do better. We're currently researching biodegradable alternatives to plastic and testing them carefully to ensure the safety, stability, and longevity of our formulas.

Our mailers are made by Arka packaging, our product cartons are made by PackMojo and our thank you cards come from noIssue. 

While glass is often seen as the more eco-conscious option, it presents certain challenges for organic skincare. Because our formulas are more delicate — free from synthetic stabilizers — they’re especially sensitive to light, air, and moisture. Glass doesn’t always offer the ideal protection, and its heavier weight contributes to a higher carbon footprint during transport.

That’s why our primary packaging is made from recyclable PET plastic. It’s lightweight, sturdy, and helps preserve the integrity of each potion while minimizing emissions in transit.

But are we satisfied with plastic? Not at all. This is simply where we begin. Behind the scenes, we’re actively exploring biodegradable alternatives that meet our high standards for safety and preservation. Our goal is clear: to leave plastic behind as soon as we can — and walk gently toward a better way.

All paper products, including our safety seals, can be recycled in your paper bin. The mailer boxes, as well as the thank you cards, are also compostable. The plastic product containers, including their labels, should be rinsed and then go to your plastic bin. We encourage you to check the guidelines in your local recycling program for details, as procedures might vary depending on your location. Need any help? As a company that uses paper products, we feel a responsibility to take a step further and contribute to reforestation programs.  While we believe that it is essential to avoid unnecessary resource use in the first place, we cannot fully avoid the need for paper products.​

In honor of the forests that inspire us, we’ve partnered with One Tree Planted, an environmental non-profit dedicated to global reforestation.. With every order, a tree is planted in a region of the world where reforestation is needed most — a quiet act of renewal that grows with you.

​While many tree planting programs disrupt local ecosystems and do not plant trees in a sustainable manner, One Tree Planted is different. They approach tree planting projects in a sustainable manner, ensuring a positive impact both on an environmental and a social level.

Please note: since our mailers are usually shipped as-is, the shipping label may mark their surface. If you'd prefer the mailer to arrive protected within an outer box, just let us know when placing your order — we’re happy to accommodate.
